Manchester United Legends are coming to Athenry!
Athenry FC and Athenry AC are collaborating on an exciting fundraisingevent, with all proceeds going towards the Moanbaun DevelopmentProject. This Moanbaun development facility serves our own members,more than 1,100 between both clubs, and is also in big demand fromoutside football and athletics clubs who are looking for accessible, qualitysurfaces to train and compete on. This facility is also open to local primaryand secondary schools with all evening sessions for both pitch and trackfully utilised presently.
Our project is not yet finished, with a further spend of €500,000 planned tofinish it off including long jump and high jump areas, shot put, steeplechasejump, training area, fencing and other ancillaries.
This fundraiser is a unique opportunity to meet Manchester United legendsof the past. You can play with the Manchester United Legends orAthenry Legends or watch from the sidelines. We launched this with a pre-sale to our members and with a public sale the week before Christmas. Theresponse was overwhelming with the Meet & Greet selling out in hours.
Our Manchester United Legends and other sporting guests will be revealedthrough social media as we progress towards our planned weekend ofevents in May. This will commence in January 2024.
We have several sponsorship options that may suit your business. This is agreat opportunity for you to entertain your customers or clients andincrease your branding locally.
There is considerable interest with local media already and we will promoteyour business locally on social media and marketing signage.
