My son Rian was suspected of having ASD at the age of 14months and then diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2 1/2. Before this we had little to no knowledge of Autism. it was a very daunting time at the start with us having so many questions that needing answering - Galway Autism Partnership were the only Organisation that could or would answer them to the best of their knowledge. As Rian has grown Galway Autism Partnership is still there with information and offering courses to help us as parents understand and help Rian. Most important to us is the clubs Gap run. they are a safe , friendly environment and Rian absolutely loves them and loves the interaction with other kids - we just want to give back a little of what we have been given.
