Each year, in conjunction with Deloitte’s Mental Health Awareness month, the Deloitte Hiking Club take on a new hiking challenge around Ireland. This year we will tackle the mountain ranges of Connacht, in aid of Pieta House.
Over the May Bank Holiday, we will climb Galway's Diamond Hill,Benbaun Mt and Mayo's Sheeffry mountain range.
Day 1 will see us travel down to Letterfrack, a small village in Connemara. Enroute we will loosen the legs by climbing Diamond Hill (442m), a Connemara National Park gem that stands between the highest of the Twelve Bens, Benbaun Mt.
Day 2 will see us trek Sheeffry mountains in Co.Mayo, which includes Mayo's highest peak Barrclashcame (772m)
Day 3 will see us trek Benbaun (729m) mountain in Co. Galway which is the highest peak of the Twelve Bens and the 10th highest peak in Ireland.
