In 2008, we lost our precious daughter Aoibhe, aged 4 to Meningitis.  Losing Aoibhe changed our lives forever, we were absolutely heartbroken, felt very alone and had no one to turn to.  We went on to set up the charity ACT for Meningitis so that no one in Ireland will ever had to face this journey alone again and through our raising awareness of meningitis lives would be saved.  On the 17th of June I will step right out of my comfort zone and take on a very personal challenge with Strictly ACT, in memory of my beautiful daughter Aoibhe and in aid of her legacy, ACT for Meningitis.
