On 5th June I am taking part in the VHI Women's Mini Marathon to raise money for the IMNDA which is a cause close to my heart. In February 2016 we received the devastating news that my dad had been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Since then he has received much support from the IMNDA and the work they do is superb. The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) is the only association of its kind providing care and support to people with MND and their families.
My dad is currently undergoing medical trials in Beaumont Hospital in the hopes of finding a cure for MND. He is the strongest & most incredible man with such a positive attitude, he never complains and has now decided to put his energy into fundraising for IMNDA. And i want to help. Please donate whatever you can. Even €2 can make a difference as we all saw 2 years ago with the ice bucket challenge. If half of my Facebook friends donate €2 I'll achieve my target.
