In 2013 we had the privilage of getting to know the Glynn family and little Gavin. His bravery, charisma and smile was infectious. Gavin lost his battle with cancer in Oct 2014. In honour of Gavin, his family have set up The Gavin Glynn Foundation. This is an amazing charity that offers hope and help to families who need options abroad for treating their child's illness.
Our Frank and little Gavin were born one day apart. Gavin born on May 29th and Frank on May 30th. Gavin is often in our thoughts but especially so as he and Frank's birthday's approach. Frank still speaks of the fun he had with Gavin when they came to visit us in Galway. In honour of Gavin, Frank will climb to the top of the reek - Croagh Patrick's 764m on Sunday May 28th. He is aiming to raise some funds for Gavin's foundation in the process and is donating his birthday money too. We hope you can donate to his fund. If you would like more info on Gavin's foundation please visit www.thegavinglynnfoundation.ie
Well done Frank, what an amazing and kind hearted way to celebrate your birthday.
Best of luck to Frank!
