All proceeds raised by the walk will go towards enhancing patient care at CUMH and in particular refurbishing the Quiet Room, a special space where parents who may experience pregnancy loss  can spend the last moments with their baby.

 With your help, CUMH, working with CUH Charity can upgrade and refurbish the Quiet Room to create a more comfortable, intimate and private haven, acting as a sanctuary for parents in the midst of their overwhelming grief and  as a space for important prayers, ceremonies and reflections to take place. The quality of this environment effects their whole bereavement experience so it is vital that it has a warm, non-clinical feel which respects parents needs at this difficult time and provides a sense of relief and comfort to both parents and their extended family.
