Before Fia was born in 2010 and Shay in 2011 we had lost theirbigsister, Ava, in 09. Ava was only with us for 25 minutes or so but we keep her memory alive and with us through fundraising events under our organisation 'The Baby Ava Foundation'. The Foundation has now raised 40k+ for neonatal research and for the CUMH NICU department in Cork. To this point it’s been mainly the grown-ups doing the events (adventure races, parachute jumps etc) but now the smallies are looking to give it a go.
Fia decided when she was 5 that she would grow her hair to donate it to The Little Princess Trust. After 2 years its ready to be chopped but she also wants to raise some donations for the CUMH Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (after all she did spend a couple of weeks there herself).
All donations and support welcome and HUGELY appreciated!!!!!
