Cara my daughter has decided to cut her beautiful long hair and donate it to The Rapunzel Foundation who will use it to make wigs and hairpieces for children who have lost their hair through illness and chemotherapy treatments. She has also decided to try and get some sponsorship for this selfless act and she will donate all monies raised to The West Clare Mini Marathon Cancer Centre in memory of her Nanny Teresa who passed away in May 2016 with cancer. The West Clare Mini Marathon Cancer centre provides an essential service to patients of cancer and their families in West Clare. They provide transport to oncology services, counselling for patients and their families, help provide aids and appliances and trips to Lourdes atc. They are totally dependent on donations from the public and receive no government funding. If you can spare even the smallest of donations Cara would be extremely grateful.
