On my first day at the Killiney Court hotel as a banqueting waitress, I was left in the staff hall by a manager and told to wait.

As I waited I heard the loud laughing of three lads coming toward the staff canteen. Well, in walked Kevin with Nigel O, Ciaran and Keith Tracey in tow.

They not so very politely commented on my short skirt and then said, don't worry - you're one of us now!!

From that day on they looked after me. When Kevin and I broke up, I was so sad but it wasn't meant to be.

Luckily he was a great friend and went on to set me up with his cousin Jason Brennan - he became my forever love ❤️

I'll always love you Kevin Higgins and I wish you were here to see what you started. You'll be in our hearts forever and we will never ever forget you. ❤️
