As I'm sure most of us have lost someone close to us from Cancer I hope everyone will donate. This is a personal challenge for me and people who know me from my work know I've been involved with this charity for many years. Recently a friend past away to cancer and I got to spend his last hours with him in the peaceful surroundings of St Francis Hospice and was overwhelmed by the care and comfort they showed him and his family. So I welcome any donation that keeps this charity helping and comforting families in their time of need.
The staff and volunteers of St. Francis Hospice provide specialist palliative care to people of North Dublin City and County. Our services are delivered from our hospices in Raheny and Blanchardstown. Based on a Christian philosophy, each person is treated with dignity, respect and compassion irrespective of their cultural or religious background. Our services are at no charge to patients.
