Would you consider supporting our charity Operation Walk Ireland on our trip to Hospital One, Hanoi, Vietnam in March 2018 where we aim to do 60 -70 joint replacements we aim to provide education and supervised training to local doctors, nurses and physiotherapists. Nine Staff from the Galway Clinic and three anaesthetists from Galway University Hospitals will travel with Operation Walk Ireland over fifty other medical professions from around the country to volunteer their skills and experience. through our donations, coffee mornings, sponsored walks etc. All funds will go directly toward shipping, joint prostheses, surgical equipment, sterile supplies, medication, disposables, dressings, crutches and walking frames etc.
Operation Walk Ireland provides hip and knee replacements for people with advanced arthritis in Vietnam. Operation Walk Ireland is at ground level working to educate Vietnamese surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and physiotherapists in Vietnam about joint replacement.
