We have been lucky enough to be offered a puppy from My Canine Companion. My Canine Companion is a charity based in Cork that helps families affected by autism to train dogs to assist families in their day to day lives. The dogs serve many purposes. From providing comfort in times of stress, to guiding children with autism through busy shopping centers or places. This enables families to get out and about in the community with less stress and is vital in combating the loneliness and isolation that autism can bring. My Canine Companion recieves no funding from the government so relies on the individual families to raise funds for their dogs training. We as a family would be increiable grateful if you could make a donation, no matter how small. Thank you very much.
