As everyone knows by son Max has Autism. I am linked in with an amazing support group called TPASG who has helped and supported myself and Max and continue to do so. They are amazing and have opened opportunities for Max. Max at the moment is taking part in Equine therapy and also swimming lessons. Both of these where orgainised by this group and also have helped make it affordable by subsidising his therapy. They have done more for him than the waiting list he is on with the so called early intervention team. The rely on fundraising as they get nothing from our government. These parents give up their own time to help and support and help families in Tallaght and do a fantastic job.

Tpasg is a group in Tallaght ran by a group of parents who hsvd choldren with an Autism diagnosis. Thry provide support information and education, while empowering families to be advocates for tgeir children with ASD (Autism). They aim to promote awarenessand acceptancefor those with asd and families in society. Here are a few things that TPASG do

They provide support to gaurdians/parents through online and support groups

Information through social media

Education through workshops

Providing subsidised therapies and activities to families affected by Autism

Empowerment by providing Individual Rights

Awareness and creating opportunities by working with various organisations in the community to provide services for children and families effdcted by Autism. 

I will be taking parent in this marathon to make awareness for Autism. All money raised will go to this group to thank them for their support and help them support more families in the future.
