We're taking part in the Evening Echo Ladies Mini Marathon 2018 on Sunday 16th of September 2018 .
We've chosen to fundraise for Feileacain - Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland . All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.

This amazing charity aims to offer support to anyone affected by the death of a baby during pregnancy or shortly after pregnancy. The charity was formed by a group of bereaved parents who supported each other after the death of their own babies and have now come together to formally offer support to other parents and families who find themselves in similar situations.

With money raised, they can provide hospitals with memory boxes to be given to bereaved families, they offer a befriending service and support helpline, they host regular meetings which allow bereaved families space and time to remember their baby, in a safe and confidential setting, where they can share their experiences. They hold rememberance services and family events and also, so importantly, promote research into stillbirth and neonatal death and the effects of grief on the family.
