The Dyslexia Assocation of Ireland (DAI) has secured 26 thrill seekers for the Alphabet Jump, their charity skydive. Each person representing a letter of the alphabet. One of those thrill seekers is myself! I will for obvious reasons represent the letter S for our daughter Sorcha. Participants are asked to raise €500 minimum (€260 covers the reduced rate cost for a charity jump and the balance goes to the Dyslexia Association of Ireland (DAI) to support our services for children and adults with dyslexia). It would be fantastic if anyone wished to sponsor me to undertake this mad event to raise much needed funds for DAI to be able to continue to provide their services to people with dyslexia. As a family we have very close ties with DAI, Natasha is currently the Chairperson of their Board of Directors, and our family are a member of DAI with Sorcha having attended such amazing courses as "Dyslexia and Me" from which she benefited enormously. All funds raised from the Alphabet Jump will support services such as, their free information service, personal assessments and tuition for disadvantaged families dealing with dyslexia. If you would like to sponsor me for this very worthy cause, close to our hearts that would be fantastic.
