Thank you firstly for visiting my page - Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurological condition that attacks the motor neurons, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching the muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting. This terrible disease effected my father's ability to speak, eat, drink and was slowly effecting his ability to walk before he contracted pneumonia and left us. The reason for this fundraiser is to not only increase awareness but also help fund towards further research to help others. Thank you for your help!
