Hi all, I am doing the Tour De Munster cycle again this year for a very deserving charity, Down Syndrome Cork. On the tour last year I witnessed first hand the enormous benefit the funds raised have on people with DS and their families. The support the cyclists receive from the DS community in all the town's we go through is incredible and to have a child come up to you and say thank you is very humbling and brings it home that we need to help each other in this life. Down Syndrome Cork is a branch of Down Syndrome Ireland. We have a membership of 390 from all parts of the county. Our aim is to support the families and our motto is #share the journey. We share this journey from birth into adulthood. Our organisation is parent led and governed by a branch committee which meets on a monthly basis.
Our services include Parentlink which supports families of new born children with Down syndrome. We also have a speech and language department, occupational t
