I'm taking part in October Lockdown Challenge 2020.
I've chosen to fundraise for Thrombosis Ireland. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.

Thrombosis Ireland are a fantastic charity that are very close to my heart (literally!) In 2013, I was told I had bilateral pulmonary embolisms which travelled to the artery of my heart. Back then, I knew very little about thrombosis, but Thrombosis Ireland aim to change that - their vision is to promote awareness of thrombosis among patients, medical staff and the general public nationwide and to provide support and advocacy for patients on anticoagulation therapy and their families. Something which is very much needed (even in normal non-Covid circumstances, but probably more so in particular now!)
