I'm taking part in Love Your Lungs Virtual Challenge - 35K Steps.
I've chosen to fundraise for Asthma Society of Ireland .
Over 380,000 people in Ireland have asthma and one person dies as a result every week in Ireland. I am one in 6,000 with a severe form of the disease. Please take a read of my posts on my Instagram awareness page i_wheeze_alot to educate yourself on the disease.

In Ireland, there are currently 450,000 people with asthma, with 890,000 people likely to have it in their lifetime. We have the 4th highest prevalence rate in the world. Every 6 minutes someone is hospitalised due to asthma complications, and every 5 days someone dies from it. Over 90% of those deaths are preventable.
