Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page on iDonate.ie.

The Hygiene Bank Ireland is running the very first National Hygiene Week from 13th - 19th September 2021. With one in six living below the poverty line, it has never been more important to raise awareness of the societal issue of hygiene poverty in Ireland.

The individuals and families we support through our local organisations cannot afford to regularly stock up on toiletries. This results in entire families sharing one toothbrush, parents having to reuse dirty nappies and often being unable to wash clothes, uniforms and sports kits as often as is necessary.

Our Community Partners have told us of the joy and sheer relief that can be seen on the faces of those who receive our donations. When people struggle financially, food, rent and bills are prioritised over hygiene products so The Hygiene Bank Ireland fills that gap and alleviates the pressure of hygiene poverty felt by many families across the country.

As part of National Hygiene Week, we are asking you to 'Understand' Hygiene Poverty, 'Support' The Hygiene Bank Ireland, and 'Challenge' a society that allows hygiene poverty to exist. Take a stand and join us on our mission to tackle hygiene poverty.

Please give what you can.

Many Thanks for your support.
