Our members are from Longford & Westmeath and some from bordering counties.We offer computer courses for adults. Speech and drama. We bring speech therapists, dentists, psychologists to talk to parents about matters relevant to Down’s Syndrome children. Dublin H.Q. provides a counselling service.
We aim to provide information, support and friendship to people with Down syndrome and their families in Westmeath & Longford. We aim to assist with an improved quality of life with respect and acceptance of people with Down Syndrome as valued members of their community. We recognise the importance of early intervention and developing communication ability, we provide therapies and activities in this area.
