Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page on iDonate.ie I'm taking part in Tour de Munster 2022 to support fundraising for Down Syndrome Ireland. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause and I hope you can help me by donating whatever you can. Simply click the Donate button above.
This will be my 8th Tour and every year I am blown away by the support of the parents and children from the DSI branches across Munster over the four days. In hail, rain and shine they keep us going whether it be tea, cakes and some banter on the rest stops or cheering us at the top of one of the challenging climbs such as Molls Gap or the Conner pass.
Unfortunately DSI receive limited funding from the Government so they are heavily reliant on events such as the Tour de Munster to raise funds. Everyone participating in the event covers their own costs and all funds raised through it go directly to the charity.
The main beneficiary is Down Syndrome Ireland (DSI). Specifically, the funds we raise will be used exclusively to fund vital projects for children, young people and adults with Down Syndrome. With the challenges of COVID-19, this charity needs your support more than ever. Its services include speech and language and occupational therapy vital to development of children with Down Syndrome. DSI’s ultimate objective is the integration of people with Down syndrome into our community.
All donations are processed securely. You can also share my page using Share options below which is a great way to spread the word on this worthy event.
