On Aug 1st, I am doing an English Channel Solo swim for Cancer Care West. I am starting @ 0100. I am very fortunate to be with my pilot Paul Foreman and co-pilot Jason Parrott. The swim can be tracked on http://cspf.co.uk/tracking (tick the Optimist box).

As with all my swims, this one is dedicated to my Mum-in-law, who has kicked cancer's ass, my own Mum and my Uncle Eugene.

Thanks to my swim crew Deborah Vine, my wife Yvonne Callan and our son, Luke Dunleavy. And to my swim-sisters and brothers from the Cork Distance Week community, Maxine Strain's Swim Squad, Naas swimming community  and Naas Tri.
