Hi All,

The Special Olympics World Summer games are taking place in Berlin, Germany from the 17th – 25th of June 2023.

It is expected that over 7000 athletes and Unified Partners, 190 nations, 3000 coaches, 20,000 volunteers, 9000 family members, 300,000 spectators (day visits) will be in attendance which will make the Special Olympics World Games the biggest inclusive sport events in the world.

Team Ireland will consist of 73 Athletes who will be taking part in 12 sport areas as well as a team of 80 volunteers to assist with the running of the games.  I have been selected as one of those volunteers and as part of this I have committed to raising €3750 to cover the cost of my travel and accommodations.
