Thank you for visiting our fundraising page on idonate.ie. The Ian Daly Swim A Mile With A Smile www.swimamile.ie in aid of Child Cancer Care and specifically CHI Children's Hospital Crumlin, www.cmrf.org and Barretstown, www.barretstown.org , is in memory of our son, Ian, who died of a very aggressive brain tumor in 2003. This is the 20th year of the swim. In that time we have raised over €670,000 for the two charities, which is a fitting legacy to Ian. Both CHI Crumlin and Barretstown were very good to Ian as he fought his illness and they are continuing to support seriously ill children. Both these charities depend on our fundraising to help offer their services to other sick kids. This year's swim takes place in Ballyfermot Sports & Leisure center on Sat & Sun 22nd and 23rd April 2023 and in pools around Ireland. More details on the event website www.swimamile.ie .
