On Wednesday 18th January our School Swim Team together with 1st and 4th year students will complete our annual Ian Daly Swim a Mile with a Smile Challenge. Students will complete 1 mile (64 lengths) of the College Swimming pool individually or as part of a relay team to raise essential funds for Barretstown and Children's Health Foundation Crumlin formerly CMRF Crumlin in memory of Ian Daly who lost his battle with a very aggressive brain tumor in 2003 aged just 11 years old. Brian Daly, Ian's father, visited the College on the 10th of Jan. to share Ian's very compelling story with our students. Since the swim began in Terenure College, our students have raised almost €10,000 for this very worthy cause.
All funds raised here will go directly to Barretstown and Children's Health Ireland, Crumlin.
