I'm running the West Of Ireland Womens Mini Marathon on April 30th in Ballina to raise funds for Croi , a charity which is close to my heart. On the 9th Aug last , my husband John had a Cardiac Arrest . He underwent an angioplasty ,requiring 2 stents . The care which John received both in MUH & GUH was exceptional . Prior to his event , John had been training for his 19th Dublin City Marathon. In the last 6 months , both John & I have seen the outstanding work & services that Croi provide . John attended Cardiac Rehab in MUH which is an excellent service & support that work alongside Croi . On Sun 30th April , I'll be running my 10th West Of Ireland Womens Marathon. John has been at the finish line of each one & this year will be the most special as not only will I be raising funds for Croi but I'll have my number 1 supporters John & Roisin, who  are my inspiration waiting for me when I cross the finish line !
