This September I am taking part in a charity cycle from Paris to Nice. Over the course of 6 days I, along with 50 other cyclists, will cover 750km of challenging terrain. All the costs of this trip, including flights and accommodation are being covered by me.
My chosen fundraiser is for Cancer Clinical Research Trust (CCRT) at St Vincent's Hospital, Dublin under the leadership of Professor John Crown.
Why this charity?
The reason I have chosen this charity is that it is close to my heart. So many of us have been touched by cancer, whether it is a close family member, a friend, a school parent or a colleague.
Cancer treatments have come along way over the years, with successful treatments and drugs being developed all the time.
This cycle challenge is about supporting the CCRT to advance cancer research further and to find revolutionary new treatments.
I hope you can help this charity, by donating whatever you can. 100% of what you donate goes immediately to this charity. Simply click the Donate button.
