In Memory of David McDonald

Hi All,

As many of you are aware, the beautiful, bouncy & vibrant David McDonald unfortunately passed away in New Zealand after a very short illness. Although he might be gone in body, he has left behind his spirit in all of our memories & stories with him that we will cherish forever through mostly laughter with maybe a few tears in the mix. 

David lived life to the max throughout his 37 years & enjoyed 11+ years in New Zealand spending time in both Wellington & Auckland. Due to his outgoing & engaging personality, he is & will be remembered by many. This was evident at his various celebrations of life between NZ & Ireland, the volume of people who appeared with new stories for his loved ones was a testament to the way he lived his life & how he was always generous with his time & affection of people. 

Many may know of the work that the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust do for families at this extremely difficult time but they do more than just pay a bill for the repatriation. There is no monetary value you could put on the taking away of the stress the admin of this heartbreaking task brings & KBRT resolve that from families so they can focus on more important things. The KBRT is the trust you hope to never have to use, but you are relieved it exists if you do. 

So with this in mind, in honour of David & if people have the financial capacity to donate to this trust. Please do not feel obligated in any way to donate as many have donated in other ways previously. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause. All donations are processed securely.
