This year, the Tochar Phadraig Walk group have kindly picked GOAL as one of their supported charities. As many of you will know, 2024 is a challenging year with multiple crises escalating around the world. Right now, GOAL staff are responding to crises across Africa, Central America, Europe, and the Middle East. Fundraisers like the Tochar Phadraig Walk make this possible.
So, on May 4th I step out with the group and walk 22 miles/35km from Ballintubber Abbey (County Mayo) to Croagh Patrick (764 m). The route will see us walk on roads and through fields and bog to get to the end. Please do consider donating to support this ambitious challenge and a very important cause.
