My husband, Liam, was diagnosed with tongue/throat cancer back in 2022 and required treatment with chemotherapy and radiotherapy. He had to attend St Luke’s Hospital in Rathgar on a daily basis for 7 weeks, to receive the radiotherapy. We couldn't have gone through it without the support and empathy of all its wonderful staff.
As a thank you for their hard work, I am undertaking the VHI Women's Mini Marathon on June 2nd this year here in Dublin, to raise funds for The Friends of St Luke's Cancer Care.
We all know the pressures on the heslth service, and every penny raised will help those who work to support both patients and families at very difficult times. I hope you can help me by donating whatever you can. Simply click the Donate button above. All donations are processed securely.
You can also share my page using Share options below. This is a great way to show your support.
Many Thanks for your support.
