Hows Things. I am rasing funds for my friend Padradig Schaler. Who was in a serious road accident in America Cape Cod Massachusetts During the Summer of 2013. At the time of the accident Padraig was living with me in America along with six more guys in the house. We where all on a J1 enjoying ourselves when this accident happen. He has been in a coma since July 2013. He was rushed to Hyannis hospital after been hit by a Van while on his way cycling to work.
He spent two weeks in Hyannis Hospital and then he was brought home to Ireland in an Airplane ambulance. He spent number of months in Beaumount hospital until the HSE said it would be over a year until he could get the treatment that he needs. Since October he is now in hospital in Germany getting the correct treatment as his father is a German Citizen.
Their is a group of us taken on a challenge of swimming all the coastal counties of Ireland spending up to 5mins at each coastal county. The event starts on the 12th of April and ends on the 13th of April. Starting in Dublin working our way up North and stopping in Galway. On the 13th of April we are heading south working our way around back to Dublin.
I would be every grateful if you could Help out my friend and his family with any sort of donation. Thank you.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Big P, his family and his wonderful friends. it's a heartbreak. I so enjoyed getting to know some of you at the cookouts we had and I only wish i could have gotten to know Big P as well. From what Melia tells me he is really someone special. I hope he has made and continues to make steady progress in his recovery. God Bless you all.

About the Cause
Caring for Padraig
Padraig Schaler, a 2013 TCD graduate from Glasnevin, Dublin, acquired a very severe brain injury when he was hit by a van on 27 June 2013 as he cycled to work on Cape Cod. Nobody was ever prosecuted.
He is now living with his family in Dublin. He requires 24-hour care and is fully dependent.
All proceeds go to the Caring for Padraig fund, administered by a Committee independent of the family.
