Myself and Derek are running 54k (well I’m only doing 12k of them) next weekend at the Ibiza Marathon in aid of Alzheimer’s Ireland. As you all know Esther passed away 2 months ago and it just so happens to be taking place on what will be her 1st birthday away from home. I’m attempting this with not much training behind me but will make it across the line even if I have to walk some of it and pray to Esther for help 😂 We are also still going through this as Brian (my dad) is also suffering with Dementia. Please donate anything you can to try help future families going through this awful disease!!!!!
Well done Orla! Such a huge achievement and a great cause xxx
