Hi all,
I will be taking part in a fundraiser for the month of May to honour our mum Mai Beirne as we approach her 5th year anniversary this June (18.06.2019).
This challenge and fundraiser will include myself running over 2 marathons during the month of May with the goal of reaching a cumulative distance of 60miles.
I have chosen this as my challenge and fundraiser to honour our mum who ran the Dublin City Marathon twice in her running days, a feat she was very proud of.
I will be running this fundraiser with the hope and aim of raising as much funds as I can for the North West Hospice, so they can continue the incredible work they do on a daily basis for those battling cancer.
As a family we are indebted to the brilliant care the North West Hospice provided for our mum in our home as she bravely battled her cancer.
I appreciate all your support and would be delighted if you could make any contribution small or large towards this worthy fundraiser to support the North West Hospice.
Such a great cause, keep up all the hard work Shelly❤️ Xx
Fair play Michelle 👏🏻 xx
