In 2004, we opened our first House in Ireland, at Crumlin Children's Hospital, to support families whose children were receiving specialist care far from home.
At a time when parents were facing long hospital stays, unfamiliar cities and real financial pressure, the need was clear. Families needed a place to stay that felt safe, practical and human.
