We now have nearly 9000 people homeless in Ireland. Peter McVerry has been tirelessly working against homelessness, setting up hostels, sourcing houses for young troubled people and getting volunteers to work with him. The Peter McVerry trust is dependent on voluntary contributions to keep the fight going.
I've created this page because I want to make a small contribution. I'm inspired by the work by the Trust and Welcome Home and wanted to support them by raising money.
I am taking part in the annual Wexford Home charity cycle on Saturday Sept 15th. This cycle is a major contributor to the annual funds for the McVerry Trust.
Please help me help them by giving whatever you can. The more people that know about Welcome Home, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
Saw you all (400 plus plus) cycling between arklow and woodenbridge on saturday, midday.
Looked a real challenge. well done and great cause!
Good luck! Have fun!
