After seeing the time,dedication and hard work themen and women of MRR put in to bring Derek home to his famiy and friends everybody could not be more thankful.These people never gave up !!Back in April we decided that we would run the Dublin City Marathon and try to raise some funds for this fantastic organisation.We are a bunch of middle aged men whos been sitting on our arses for the past 10 years who would get tired looking at people running.We gave ourselves a goal and after bloody hard work and commitment we are well on our way to achieving that goal.We are not going to give up either .Please help support our goal to giving something back to these heroes.

Meath River Rescue
Meath River Rescue was established in 1996, by a group of local swimmers and divers. It was decided to base it in the Navan region at the junction of the Boyne and Blackwater rivers. The founders consisted of six members and grew over time to the present membership of twenty. All members have done various courses, comprising of diving, boat handling and first aid skills.In 2013, our new headquarters "The People of Meath's Boathouse" in Beechmount Home Park.
