The Irish Hospice Foundation needs funding to progress and maintain important programmes such as
Nurses for Night Care
Making Home Care a possibility for families
Transforming Hospital Spaces to make them more dignified and comfortable at the most difficult time for families.
There is also an invaluable programme for supporting families with a child needing hospice care by the provision of an excellent team of outreach nurses.
The provision of palliative care for all is such an important programme.
Unfortunately all these programmes are being needed by so many families.
There are so many worthy charities and I don't wish to pressurise anyone but any help would be appreciated to ensure these vital programmes are maintained so that these brillant people can continue to do what they are best at - caring for people at a very vulnerable time.
My family and I truly appreciated the support, care and compassion we received when we needed it.
