Dear friends, 

I'm taking part in IHF Cycle Challenge 2023 - Prague to Vienna and I've chosen to fundraise for Irish Hospice Foundation . 

One of the biggest hopes for many people at the end of their life is to have the opportunity to be at home surrounded by family and friends. This fundraiser is to assist in raising funds to enable this to happen ensuring that people can receive the support they need as they face dying, death and bereavement. 

As a Nurse, I want to support my Nursing Colleagues to deliver this important care and support to patients ensuring their wishes are met and that they get a dignified end to their life.  Nurses provide reassurance and respite for families and loved ones caring for someone at home.
