Our Son Nathan Horgan was born on the 31st December 2014 but sadly passed away on the 6th December 2016 just before his 2nd Birthday and left us completely heartbroken. Nathan was born with an undiagnosed but life limiting condition and suffered from mobility issues, poor muscle tone, eyesight and hearing issues among other complications. Nathan needed continuous oxygen to help him breathe and to be fed with a tube that was placed into his bowel.Nathan had many hospital appointments due to his medical conditions and attended hospital regularly. Most of the stays were in Dublin hosptitals. Being from Cork this was very difficult as traveling was a huge struggle for us. This is where the BUMBLEance National Children's Ambulance Service supported us. The reduction of stress from having paramedics around when traveling if something went wrong was immeasurable.
We (Nathan's Dad and friends )are taking part in the Cork City Half Marathon on the 3rd June 2018.
