Harry looks no different than any other boy of his age, on first impressions he may across as anoutgoing and bubbly but due to his aspergers he struggles to cope with daily life and with things others children of his age take for granted. To assist Harry with these daily struggles, to give his some independence and a best buddy we have applied for an autism service dog through "My Canine Companion" and are delighted to have been accepted. My Canine Companion are a national charity who train dogs to assist children and young adults living with Autism. It costs just over 10k to fully train each service dog to the standards of Assistance Dogs Europe. They are a registered charity and receive no government funding, they rely soley on community, individual and corporate funding to be able to provide each service dog.
