an incredible €4 million has been raised in 21 years, which has helped
countless young people experiencing homelessness both at home and abroad through
the Peter McVerry Trust and The Hope Foundation.
The fundraiser was founded in January 1999, bringing the
legal profession together to create an annual fundraising event to fight homelessness
in Ireland and in Calcutta.
by the success of the inaugural run in 1999, the event has grown from strength
to strength. Over 1,300 people took part in 2018, raising an incredible
€300,000. We want to raise this amount again in 2019. With extra effort from
all the firms and individuals involved we think we can do it!
We are calling runners of all levels, family, kids, and friends to kick
off the summer by either running or walking the 10km or 5km on Saturday, 18 May at Blackhall Place at
11am. Bring the whole office, your family, your friends, and even your dog
enjoy the scenic route through the Phoenix Park. Registration will take place
from 9:15am to 10:15am.
As a reward for all the hard work, runners and
walkers will receive a goodie bag and can then relax and enjoy the
BBQ, bar, DJ and kids activities at the Finish Line Festival in
the grounds of Blackhall Place.
