Thank you for taking the time to visit my memorial page for Reid Luke Connorton.
Feilecain is an organisation very close to our hearts. On the 21st of July 2023 our son Reid was born sleeping, while this was the hardest time in our lives we our so grateful we had the support from an amazing organisation like Feileacain.
Feilecain provided us with a cuddle cot as they do in all maternity hospitals in the country which provides bereaved parents with that extra special time with your baby in home or in hospital. We were also provided with a memory box of beautiful keepsakes like matching teddys one for the parents and one to remain with the baby, keyrings, hand knitted clothes and blankets.
Not to mention endless support groups, meetings and telephone help line- which is such a great help for someone going through such a dark time.
Therefore I've chose to run the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon this year to raise funds for Feileacain- Stillbirth and Neonatal Death association of Ireland.
All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.
No donation is too big or small we really appreciate it , feel free to share this link around. Thank you all for your support!

Why the name FéileacáinA Butterfly lights besides us like a sunbeam …Many of the ancient civilizations believed that butterflies were symbols of the human soul, and in Irish mythology the butterflies, or ‘Féileacáin’, are said to be the spirits of the departed who return to visit their favorite place and their loved ones to reassure them that they are alright.
