Thank you for taking the time to visit my memorial page for Anthony Freeney.
Anthony passed away on the 19th of June 2023 at Galway Hospice after a short illness. He was a very proud Athenry man and was Honorary Vice President of St Mary GAA Club Athenry, he played Senior hurling for the club and was the clubs referee for over 35 years. To mark his 1st anniversary his nephews are taking on the challenge of cycling from Croke Park to Athenry GAA Ground on the weekend of the 14th of June.
