To my nearest and dearest, before dad died he wanted to do something that would be epic for the wonderful people of Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services in Harolds Cross. Knowing him it wasn't going to be something normal and he soon came about an idea to travel to the Arctic Circle in Norway. Before long we had the maps out, ferries picked, routes planned and ideas flowing. He was keen to tell the nurses and doctors of the plan (no pressure eh) then of course dad would ask "what's the chances of us seeing a polar bear" LOL. He told me no matter what happened he will be there with me one way or another. Deep down we both knew what would happen very soon. In June 2020 I will spend 3 weeks on my motorbike travelling 8000km to reach the Arctic Circle in Norway, did I mention it will be camping along the way! Ive no doubt dad will keep his word and be with me on that journey. I want to ask people to sponsor this event where I promise to cover 100% of the costs so all of the donations will go directly to the Hospice. The price of a cup of coffee or a couple of beers would be amazing. The target is 2000 euro and in return ill keep you updated how I get my ass kicked by gruelling weather, harsh terrain and the most amazing scenery this world has to offer. #Thisones4you
