1 in 65 children in Ireland are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our little boy was diagnosed at age three. Our government is continually failing our beautiful children as if they don't count. Long waiting lists for assessment and diagnosis and extremely limited services for the children and families following diagnosis. Kildare Autism Network provides support and information for parents in County Kildare and many social opportunities for the children. It is continually developing its role but without your help it cannot do so. Our family are most grateful for any donations made to this charity. They help us and our little boy and many more families like us.
Kildare Autism Network (K.A.N.) is a registered charity and support group for people on the Autism Spectrum and their families.
It is a voluntary organisation, which has been set up by parents to try to provide a supportive and positive setting for all family members, to encourage engagement with others, share information and experiences and to make new friends.
