My youngest son was diagnosed last June with Dyslexia. Although his school were and are extremely supportive I still felt that I didn't know enough about his specific learning difficuly so I began to research and arm myself with all the information I could so I could best support him. Dyslexia is a learning difficulty which affects the acqusition of fluent and accurate reading and spelling skills, over 10% of the population is affected!
One of my first point of contacts was the Dyslexia Association of Ireland. The Dyslexia Association of Ireland is a registered charity which works with and for people affected by dyslexia by providing information, offering appropriate suppport series and raising awarenesss of dyslexia.
They could not have been more helpful and supportive. All funds raised from this Alphabet Jump will support The Dyslexia Association of Irelands free information service, assessment and tuition of disadvantaged families dealing with dyslexia.
If you can support me in raising much need funds for this charity it would be greatly appreciated.
