Cayden is four years old. We are fundraising on behalf of the charity My Canine Companion for an assistance dog. Four of us (so far!!) have grouped together to kickstart this fundraising for Cayden's assistance dog. He has recruited his mum, his aunt and two randoms to attempt a 5k run by either crawling, jumping or skipping across the finish line before sundown. The event is taking place on April 2nd Easter Monday (an attempt to negate all the effects of the previous day's chocolate Easter Eggs) and will involve a road trip to Celbridge from Cork. We are hoping to make some form of a dent in the €5,000 towards the training of an assistance dog although if we can raise more for my canine companion, it would be an incredible bonus for this amazing charity.
Thanks so much for any little bit you can donate!
UPDATE 29th March: Cayden's army is expanding with two new regiments tackling the Cork City Marathon on 3rd June: "Cayden's Cadets" and "Cayden's Cavalry".
