Padraig Schaler, a dear friend of mine, was in a terrible accident last summer. He has a severe brain injury and is recieveing specialist care in Germany. This of course costs a lot of money and so some of his friends are parttaking in a fundraiser to help raise a bit of money for his care.
Padraig was a great swimmer so on the 12th of April we are going to swim in every costal county in Ireland over the course of two days. Each participant must raise €250 each, and I have ten days to do it, so any donation, little or large, is greatly appreciated!
Thanking you in advance! More details at the bottom of the page.
Padraig Schaler, a 2013 TCD graduate from Glasnevin, Dublin, acquired a very severe brain injury when he was hit by a van on 27 June 2013 as he cycled to work on Cape Cod. Nobody was ever prosecuted.
He is now living with his family in Dublin. He requires 24-hour care and is fully dependent.
All proceeds go to the Caring for Padraig fund, administered by a Committee independent of the family.
